Serving Northern California since 1948
Simpson & Simpson, Inc. has been owned and operated by the Simpson family since 1948, when it was founded by Edwin and Lorraine Simpson. In 1986, their son, Steve Simpson, took over and grew the company into what it is today. We provide services in Placer, Nevada, El Dorado, Sacramento, and Yuba counties, and we are privileged to provide services for various local, county and state agencies. Our man power and specialty equipment gives us the ability to efficiently and expertly complete any job. For over 60 years we have actively supported our local community and we are members of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce and the Newcastle Area Business Association.
Simpson & Simpson, Inc. has been paving asphalt driveways and parking lots in Northern California for over 70 years. We have laid down over 9 million square feet of asphalt!

Our fearless leader shows his attention to detail and unsurpassed craftsmanship through the many projects he has created over the years. Steve has been a devoted car nut since the 70s and today he finds time to build and show many of his talents through his vehicles.
Nevada County Contractors' Association
The Nevada County Contractors’ Association is a non-profit association of general contractors, sub-contractors, building material suppliers, and other related construction industry businesses. The purpose of the NCCA is to promote, foster and maintain high standards in construction, integrity in business relations and ethical practices within the construction industry.
Auburn Chamber of Commerce
The Auburn Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization of over 600 businesses of all sizes. The Chamber supports, represents, promotes, and advocates for business before local government and regulatory agencies to protect the interests of all.
Placer County Contractors' Association
The Placer County Contractors Association regularly reviews the License Status of its members. The PCCA promotes safe working conditions, licensed and insured contractors, verifiable references, and quality workmanship. All these efforts go towards making sure your project is completed by qualified workers and that your investment is protected by not exposing you to injury claims made by uninsured and unlicensed contractors who may get hurt on your property.
Newcastle Area Business Association
The Newcastle Area Business Association (NABA) was established in 1984 to promote local businesses of the greater Newcastle, Ophir and Penryn area and to support and participate in community activities and projects. Our current member base is uniquely comprised of several generations of business professionals and entrepreneurs sharing their business and industry knowledge and nostalgically reflecting on the history of what makes doing business in our area truly unique. This collective wisdom is a rare offering for business owners and entrepreneurs who choose to do business in this area. The nature of the organization is nonprofit, nonpartisan, and nonsectarian. NABA is legally sanctioned to operate as an extension of the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce.
